Environment, Health & Safety Specialist

Your Role:

• Conducting controls regarding working conditions and compliance with OHS rules and regulations.
• Submitting ongoing reports to the employer about identified occupational danger, including applications.
• Participation in preparing and assessing modernization and development plans for the facility.
• Participation in handing-over of structures and devices (new and rebuilt).
• Submitting applications regarding OHS requirements for all processes, machines, and devices.
• Expressing opinions on detailed OHS manuals at working positions.
• Participation in determining circumstances and causes of work-related accidents as well as in preparation of applications, analysis of occupational disease incidence, and control over implementation of those applications.
• Keeping registers and documents concerning work-related accidents, diagnosed occupational diseases, as well as storing examination reports and measurement results of factors harmful to health.
• Consultancy within the scope of application of OHS rules and regulations and participation in performance of occupational risk assessment.
• Consultancy within the scope of organization and working methods at working positions and positions that include dangerous, harmful, or cumbersome factors. Consultancy within the scope of selection of protective equipment.
• Cooperation with laboratories authorized to test and measure factors of the working environment within the scope of their organization and protection methods, as well as monitoring of the natural environment.
• Cooperation with the occupational physician, especially when organizing periodical medical examinations.
• Cooperation with Labor Inspectorates, participation in OHS consultations and corporate OHS commissions, as well as initiating and developing forms of promoting OHS and ergonomics.

Your Background:

• Degree in the field or specialty of occupational health and safety or finished post-graduate studies in the field of occupational health and safety
• Practical knowledge of standard ISO45001
• Methodological approach towards problem solving
• Ability to conduct cause-and-effect analyses
• Decision-making skills
• Good command of English
