Senior Specialist - Trade Booking - OTC Derivatives Middle Office

The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises two business lines: a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.

For our Securities Services business line which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation center in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to be a vital part of the expansion in BNP Paribas’ operational scope in Poland.

Responsibilities:

• Booking the trades in BNP Paribas Middle office trade capture application as per the client ticket for the client’s in-scope for depositary service.
• Liaising with the CAM team if there is any trade ticket on new product currently not managed. Contacting Client in case of missing details in client ticket.
• Capturing the trades as per procedures defined.
• Handling query from the CAM /reconciliation team/ any stake holder in resolving the break in trades captured.
• Uploading of the trade file received from clients to trade capture system.
• Uploading of the files to update depositary status in trade capture system.

Requirements:

• Fluent English speaking & writing
• Proven track record of work – minimum 3 years of experience
• Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
• Strong attention to details
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• OTC Derivatives product knowledge
• Good understanding of Middle Office functions including Affirmation/Confirmation, trade reconciliations & counterparty’s process
• Reasoning skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines is essential
