UX Designer

We’re looking for an outcome-oriented UX Designer to enhance our job seeker experiences across our global product portfolio. Collaborating with Product Managers, Localization, UX Writers & Researchers, and other Designers, this Designer will discover opportunities, identify pain points, and explore innovative ways to improve the experience for job seekers in diverse markets. We're looking for someone enthusiastic about analyzing data and keen on using product experimentation to address user needs.

ABOUT THIS TEAM

 This position is part of BOLD's UX & Design department and will work directly with one of our Product teams. These teams work collaboratively to identify opportunities where modifications to our products would create a better user experience for resume/CV builder tools. Members of this team reside in the USA, Puerto Rico, Europe, and India. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and deliver high-fidelity designs.
• Maintain consistency across designs using UI kits and design systems.
• Develop data-driven design solutions supporting BOLD's experimentation-focused development process.
• Proactively engage in the end-to-end design process, driving decisions, addressing issues, and fostering strong collaboration with Product Managers, Brand Designers, and cross-functional stakeholders for exceptional outcomes.
• Support strategic efforts with innovative and user-centered thinking.
• Communicate design choices and direction effectively to stakeholders and other team members.
• Engage proactively in collaborative design reviews to share and receive constructive feedback, fostering high-quality designs and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are a must (proficiency in other languages would be an asset).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in web and mobile design, ideally for high-traffic consumer-facing websites.
• A solid portfolio showcasing design thinking, effective decision-making, and high-fidelity design deliverables for both web and mobile applications.
• Proficient in conveying design concepts through wireframing, user flows, and mockups.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate and present design ideas effectively.
• Effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously with shifting priorities.
• Interest in driving product growth through experimentation, A/B testing, and product optimizations.
• Proficiency in Figma, including the ability to build and maintain component libraries within the platform.

WHAT’S GOOD TO HAVE

• Experience in designing and enhancing B2C e-commerce products, bringing valuable insights and expertise to our team.
• Familiarity with principles and patterns of Interaction Design, and basic proficiency in tools like Lottie or Rive, enabling effective execution of innovative design concepts.
• Knowledge of in-product A/B testing and experimentation, aligning design decisions with data-driven insights for more impactful outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with Localization for products tailored to global markets, ensuring effective adaptation and cultural relevance.
