Join us as an Alternative Transfer Agency Shareholder Services Supervisor

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Transfer Agency Shareholder Services Supervisor in the Alternatives Department. In this position, you will be responsible for day to day managing of key Transfer Agent client relationships and provide an escalation point for service issues, as well as producing various internal and client reports on an ongoing basis. The incumbent will be evaluated on their ability to perform these functions in a controlled and efficient manner while maintaining high client satisfaction. Achieving this will require leadership, initiative, creativity, strong communication skills, management skills including delegation and the ability to instill enthusiasm and commitment among team members.


Some of your key responsibilities include:


  • Working closely with the TA SHS Team Leader and Investor Relationship Manager to establish and document service standards and procedures for TA clients
  • Assisting with the creation, maintenance and publication TA Operational Guides for all clients
  • Developing expertise in changing industry initiatives (attend to presentations, work sessions & personal effort) and educate clients continually through presentations
  • Establishing solid contacts with all areas and all levels at clients’ organizations as well as inter departmental
  • Reviewing and discussing any client related issues requiring escalation with the Investor Relationship
  • Managers and TA Management
  • Proactively manage TA client relationships
  • Co-ordinating and ensuring timely, accurate and complete set-up of new funds and share classes
  • Co-ordinating activities across various locations for clients that operate under the Global TA Service Model

Qualifications:


  • Ideally 3-5 years’ experience in transfer agency or the funds industry and supervisory experience
  • Deep understanding of the Alternative financial services industry and knowledge of current industry initiatives
  • The ability to foster strong team spirit, to develop and mentor and effectively manage available resources
