Requirements:

●  Strong command of the Polish language and grammar rules

● Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation

● Proficiency in the use of proofreading tools and software to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of proofreading tasks

● Familiarity with common writing styles and formatting guidelines in Polish literature and academic writing

● Knowledge of Polish cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate language usage

Nice to have: 

● Experience with proofreading a variety of documents, including articles, essays, reports, and other written materials

●  Experience with translation or copyrighting

● Person pursuing one of the subsequent majors: English philology, Polish language, marketing, or communication/PR

●  Partnership management experience

Responsibilities:

●  Improve automatically translated English articles (using artificial intelligence DeepL) for native Polish speakers

●  Review and proofread translated texts

●  Check for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and consistency in language use

●  Ensure the translated text maintains the same meaning and tone as the original
