Scope of responsibilities in the position:
- Promote a culture of LEAN and continuous improvement
- Manage improvements using LEAN tool box, PDCA, 5Y’s A3 etc.
- Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities, propose strategies and develop and implementation a road map
- Manage Employee Initiative Program, Engineering Idea Program, support programs with implementation and guidance during the improvement projects
- Standardize processes and build the forum for sharing the best practice
- Design and lead SGA’s and Kaizen activities
- Drive change management projects including investments
- Develop and implemented Lean education throughout the plant
- Report and track progress of projects, communicate opportunities/risks, take necessary actions to ensure success, manage budget cost
- Manage external resources supporting internal projects, build relations
Expectations towards candidates:
- Mindset/culture of change, always looking to improve, eliminate waste by questioning the current status quo, driving innovation
- Experienced in change management, Kaizen story
- 3+ years’ experience in Production Engineering, Project Management within production /manufacturing environment or other managerial positions in operations
- MSc in Engineering, Logistic, Quality or IT
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Well organized, structured approached, root-cause analysis , ability to deep dive in processes and methods. Concentrating on details, patient teacher, good technical understanding with analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and on ones own initiative
