General Manager

For our client, a large manufacturing company with several production plants in the CEE region, including one in Małopolska, we are looking for a candidate for the position of General Manager.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing management.
• At least 5 years in a senior management role (Operations Director, CEO, GM) - FMCG would be an advantage.
• Documented successes in improving operational efficiency and financial results.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• English Level - at least C1.
• P&L management knowledge.
• Excellent analytical skills to monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness and develop improvement strategies.
• Familiarity with applicable regulations, safety standards, and quality norms in the manufacturing industry.
• Leadership through inspiration, building trust, and the ability to make difficult decisions.
• Willingness to travel if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing business operations, improving overall efficiency and driving business growth and success.
• Implementing a sustainable business model that aligns with the company’s vision and culture,
• Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost management to ensure the plant operates within financial constraints while optimizing efficiency.
• Provide leadership and direction to all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, and logistics.
• Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor and analyze plant performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure that the manufacturing processes adhere to quality standards, and implement measures for continuous improvement in product quality.
• Build and lead
• Address operational challenges and implement solutions to overcome obstacles in the manufacturing process.a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
