GA Accountant

For our client, who is hiring over 20 000 employees and actively operating on American, Asian and European market and this year is going to open a brand new site in Poland, in city Szprotawa we are seeking to fill the role of:

GA Accountant

GAA/1404/AL/DPM

Location: Szprotawa

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for accounting entries in SAP

· Execute monthly financial close process including journal entries and reconciliations within set company timelines

· Review financial works prepared by outsourcing firm

· Responsible for the accuracy of balance sheet account reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations

· Maintain fixed assets register

· Preparation of financial reports, conduct analysis in areas such as sales, profitability and department KPI

· Develop and streamline internal processes

· Responsible for taxation matters and local statutory requirements, such as tax filings, government reports

· Complete other duties deemed necessary to support the Company’s business operations

· Reporting directly to CFO

Requirements:

· Fluent in Polish and English

· Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant course/training

· Relevant working experience in a similar role, at least 2-3 years

· Familiar with local GAAP and tax regulations.

· Experience with SAP is a great asset
