Lead Piping and Instrumentation Engineer

Ferchau Poland is looking for a Senior / Lead Engineer that could potentially become Service Delivery Manager for layout & piping deliverables.

Your area of responsibility:

• Creation of pipework concepts and detailed plans from a technological, economic and installation point of view, from concept development to installation
• Creation and review of technical documents such as isometric drawings, installation plans, special supports and support systems
• On-site survey and creation of manual isometric drawings
• Conceptual layout planning
• Creation of production and detailed drawings
• Isometric visualization of piping systems including the necessary special support structures
• Quality assurance for delivery process in compliance to client’s requirements and standards
• Carrying out simplified analyses of stresses in pipelines in accordance with EN 13480-3, Annex Q
• Preparation of technical documents and documentation

What you bring to the table:

• University degree or further technical training specializing in construction technology, mechanical engineering, process engineering or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in plant and pipeline planning as well as installation
• Hands-on experience in piping and instrumentation projects delivery
• Ability to play a lead engineer role and project management tasks
• Proficiency and good knowledge of using the CAD systems AutoCAD Plant 3D, SmartPlant 3D, E3D, or PDS 3D
• Experience with the relevant regulations, in particular DIN EN 13480 and PED, preferably also AD2000 or EN 13445
