R&D Test Engineer

At Ferchau Poland we are looking for an R&D Test Engineer to join a project team at global technology company supplying advanced mobility products and systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial technology. The job concerns carrying out tests and preparing test documentation in the product development department of the Intergral Pedal Unit. This is a component containing a brake pedal and, depending on whether it is a variant for a car with manual or automatic transmission, also a clutch pedal.

Tasks:

• Creation of test documentation in the form of a test case in the V model according to ASPICE standard
• Test reports of the tests performed
• Execution of functional tests
• Construction of the measurement system (measurement of primarily force, distance and pressure)

Requirements:

• Education in the field of Mechanics, Mechatronics, Pneumatics, Electropneumatics or derivative faculties
• General knowledge of the V model according to ASPICE standard
• Communicative level of English (B2) is required
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics will be an advantage, as well as an SEP E1 licence
• Knowledge of DEWEsoft and DIAdem for data acquisition is a nice to have
