BI Analyst – Temporary contract

About the role:
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will undertake ad hoc analysis activities to measure performance, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to support business growth, across a range of markets and subjects. You will be also responsible for maintaining and enhancing an existing suite of reports across the EMEA region.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain an understanding of the strategic business needs and use business intelligence tools and analytical skills to provide insight
- Ensure utilization of BI is consistent and accurate. Understand Herbalife Nutrition business intelligence project – HBI and its’ mechanics
- Use the above to manage and improve the existing suite of reports which includes:
- Distribution of regular reports
- Decommissioning outdated reports
- Creating new regular reports as well as reports on bespoke requests
- Maintaining a common knowledge exchange platform on many platforms (desktop, mobile)
- Work independently with limited supervision, proactively taking ownership of key analytical projects
- Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining to transform data into actionable insights and recommendations
- Use data to answer business-related questions from senior management as well as local markets & other internal clients in an easy-to-understand, storytelling approach
- Proactively ask questions and investigate rather than provide raw data to ensure available information is used in a proper way
- Coach & support other Herbalife Nutrition business intelligence project users within the region
- Design and develop ad-hoc reports.
Our Requirements:
- At least 2 years of analytical experience with complex data sets
- Degree within a related subject
- Excellent working knowledge of Business Intelligence software e.g. MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI or similar
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, including expert level of Excel
- Knowledge of R, Python, VBA or other programming language will be an asset
- Excellent prioritization skills and ability to work with tight deadlines
- Good team player with the ability to quickly establish credibility and build strong effective working relationships across a geographically diverse business

- Excellent written and oral communication skills à Ability to communicate complex ideas simply
