Requirements
- Approximately 3 years of experience in German payroll
- Fluency in German and very good command of English
- Proficiency in SAP HCM (Human Capital Management)
- Very good knowledge of salary policies and German labor law regulations
- Openness to hybrid work in a model of 2 days in the office, 3 days remote, or 8 days per mont
Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end payroll processes for German employees
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions
- Verifying and reconciling payroll data
- Collaborating with internal teams to address payroll-related queries and concerns
- Staying current with German payroll regulations and compliance requirements
- Processing new hires, terminations, and changes to employment terms in the SAP system
- Generating and distributing payroll reports to relevant stakeholders
- Supporting audits and reviews related to payroll records
- Resolving discrepancies and issues related to payroll processing
- Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Providing high-quality customer service for employees regarding payroll matters through a ticketing system
- Contributing to the development and implementation of payroll-related policies and procedures
- Keeping abreast of industry best practices and recommending improvements to enhance payroll operations
