ABOUT YOU:


To be successful in this role we expect that you:

• Have min. 3 years of experience working as a manager leading people,

• Are an expert in retail workforce management, including demand, capacity, scheduling, and intraday analysis,

• Have a strong knowledge in operational forecasting, scheduling, and real-time management within the contact center industry.


Also at this role we believe that you have the following skills:

• Experienced in senior stakeholder management, particularly in positioning online and remote customer experience,

• Broad understanding of demand drivers related to sales and aftersales,

• Familiar with the complexity of IKEA business and the role of Remote Customer Meeting Point (RCMP) as an integrated part,

• Motivated to lead and develop others, setting individual goals,

• Inspired by creating an IKEA fit for omnichannel retailing and embracing change,

• Skilled at navigating complex processes with ambiguous local business needs,

• Building trustful relationships and driving the scheduling agenda,

• Ability to adapt global guidelines to the local context,

• Have a high proficiency in data and computer skills,

• Can communicate fluently in Polish and English (written and spoken),


ABOUT THIS WORK AREA:

Drive the Planning, Scheduling & Intraday (PS&I) area for the country Remote Customer Meeting Point (RCMP), optimising co-worker availability to meet the workload in the most efficient and effective manner. This includes fulfilment of customer contact demand in real time. You will also lead the RCMP PS&I team.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Executing and adapting the global people planning strategy, optimizing co-worker availability aligning with local business needs,

• Accountable for achieving Country PS&I goals by implementing global best practices and adhering to Ingka People Planning concepts,

• Ensure adherence to IKEA employment standards, local legislation, and union requirements. Collaborate closely with the Country People Planning team in People&Culture,

• Translate strategic demand forecasts and capacity plans into actionable operational forecasts and schedules,

• Contribute to the overarching end-to-end workforce management process by providing operational and intraday analysis,

• Collaborate closely with global Demand & Capacity teams and local/global Business Navigation teams for strategic, tactical, and budget planning,

• Work closely with Sales and After Sales Teams to balance business and customer needs through effective scheduling and intraday initiatives,

• Identify root causes for poor operational performance and collaborate with Sales and After Sales departments on mitigation actions,

• Lead, coach, and develop co-workers, fostering individual growth and building a high-performing team,

• Prioritize and allocate resources within the team to ensure excellence and sufficient capacity,

• Coordinate and adapt flexible workplace arrangements, including remote work (home, site, and store), to meet demand during commercial events, seasonal fluctuations, high peak periods, and crisis situations (collaborate closely with Sales and After Sales).
