Joorney is known across the industry for its educational webinars, you can see some of our webinars here. As an Event Specialist, you will organize webinars from ideation to execution. You will also participate in planning our first digital conference and assist in organizing in-person events.


What you will do:


Virtual Events:


  • Lead and oversee all digital aspects of webinars, including managing registration forms, creating event pages and analyzing webinar analytics.
  • Assist in the process of sourcing speakers, planning and managing the yearly webinar calendar.
  • Develop guidelines and timelines for internal teams (content, social media, design, etc.) to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Create and execute a comprehensive webinar promotion plan through various digital marketing channels.
  • Compile all necessary information to apply for continuing legal education accreditation applications.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with guest speakers to ensure a seamless process.
  • Stay updated on current industry trends and best practices, and prepare engaging webinar topics accordingly.
  • Conduct event rehearsals to test technologies and address any concerns prior to the actual webinar.
  • Monitor and analyze webinar metrics regularly to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed post-event reports and consistently provide suggestions for enhancing future webinars.


In-person Events


  • Negotiate quotes and agreements with vendors and follow up to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Assist in managing team travel requirements, including flights, accommodation, and marketing material shipments.
  • Follow up with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Conduct research on industry-related events and contribute to the preparation of the yearly events calendar.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance event processes and procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure innovative and successful event execution.


What you have:

  • Extensive expertise in planning and managing events, particularly virtual events like webinars, conferences, happy hours, etc.
  • Proficiency in utilizing virtual event platforms, video conferencing tools, live social media broadcasting, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and techniques, with the ability to effectively reach and engage with target audiences through various online channels.
  • Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to gain valuable insights and make informed decisions.
  • Positive, proactive, “can do” attitude
  • Previous experience with webinar platforms like Livestorm or similar.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Professional and composed demeanor when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partial availability during EST hours for communication with team members located in North and South America.
