Data Scientist

Founded in 2021, we are a Polish startup operating within the Żabka Group. We operate in the e-commerce industry, which is one of the fastest-growing sectors globally.

So far, we have created two products in the Polish market. Jush, an app which allows you to order your favorite products and have them delivered in as little as 15 minutes from placing your order, and delio, available as an app and also in a browser version, an online supermarket with everything you need for yourself and your home. At Lite e-Commerce, we create cutting-edge technologies that will make your life easier.

We are currently looking for a Data Scientist to be part of Lite's heroes and heroines on a mission to technologically advance the world! 🦸💙

🎯 Responsibilities:

• participate in use case design with business team to prioritise only value-creating work;
• support our Senior Data Scientist in developing new products that support business goals;
• learn the magic of production-grade ML code from our MLE;
• learn about release-based deployments with product owners of customer apps.

💻Daily scope of work:

1. Develop machine learning models.
2. Run experiments and test hypotheses.
3. Make sure models deployment is as smooth as possible.
4. Create technical documentation.
5. Learn and grow.

✅ Must Have:

• experience as a Data .
• very good knowledge of Python and SQL.
• demonstrating a motivated, self-driven, and proactive attitude.
• masters or some commercial experience,
• Knowledge in machine Learning, Scikit-learn, Git,
• command of Polish and English.

💪 Nice to have:

• Hadoop, Hive, Airflow, bash, Polish, MLOps Concepts, CI/CD, Cloud, unit testing, A/B Testing.
