Regional CFO (Real Estate)

About Our Client

For our Client, international, fast growing, investor/developer because of growth we are looking for proper candidates for newly created position Regional Chief Financial Officer who will be based in Warsaw but also may relocate to other European country.

That role will be strongly focused on business matters. Candidate will create finance strategy and support the growth, will be engaged in new investments ideas and will focus on optimization and processes. We need hands on, open for challenges and able to make changes candidate. Experience in stock exchange companies (real estate or construction) and also regional exposure will be huge asset.

Job Description

• Provide strategic finance input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company and evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning (i.e., growth, markets, strategies, and investments)
• Establish and execute finance strategy for the ideas and plans,
• Building relationship with external shareholders,
• Lead strategy and execution across all financial functions including accounting, finance, treasury, tax and strategic planning,
• Partner with CEO in all business matters,
• Take active part as efficient negotiator during all business and commercial aspects (deals, new business, financing, etc.),
• Lead due diligence efforts for acquisitions and participate in negotiation processes,
• Cash flow management and optimisation, through cash forecasting, working capital management and investment analysis,
• Leadership for all financial planning & analysis, including ownership of annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, KPI/dashboard management and operational analytics processes that inform the CEO and senior management on company performance in real time,
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners that support the finance, debt, acquisitions and development infrastructure,
• Cultivate strong working relationships across the management team,
• Execute and develop a timely monthly close of all financial reporting,
• Administer banking arrangements, loan agreements, covenant compliance and maintain adequate sources of capital for the company's current borrowings from commercial banks and other lending institutions,

Partner with all members of the senior management team and other company leadership on short, medium- and long-term business strategy,

The Successful Applicant

• Reputation as a highly ethical, strategic, innovative, and disciplined but also hands on financial/business leader.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA and MBA preferred.
• Proven track record as CFO working with a successful private equity or real estate development firm with a broad base of multiple asset classes, industrial, office, and retail; hotel experience beneficial,
• Minimum 15 years of business experience, with at least 7 years as a senior financial leader within a medium-sized company with track record of effective leadership achieving significant investor returns,
• Proven track record in cooperation with Stock Exchange, bank loans, bonds and other financial instruments, strong network in banking/ capital market,
• Demonstrated talent for developing and successfully achieving strategic plan for dynamic growth,
• Highly developed negotiation skills, proven tack record in structuring complex investment cases,
• Proven track record in financial modelling and building controlling, reporting and accounting functions,
• European exposure and experience is highly desirable,
• Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment,
