Purpose of the role:

The Finance Manager Supply Chain supports the Global Supply Chain Head and their team. This role involves budgeting, Profit & Loss statement reforecasting, financial closings, reporting, and analyzing results. The Finance Manager will understand budget variances through a deep knowledge of the business and support functions like Warehousing, Global Distribution Centers (GDCs), Inventory Planning, and Logistics.

What will you do? 

• Provide financial and analytical support for decision-making. 
• Develop financial tools for business support. 
• Participate in the budget, forecasting, and long-term planning processes. 
• Build models for data collection and analysis. 
• Monitor and analyze financial and operational performance against budgets and forecasts. 
• Prepare monthly financial deviation reports and recommendations. 
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting processes, including P&L analysis. 
• Cooperate with the accounting department (Shared Service at IBM and local finance). 
• Develop, monitor, and analyze performance measurements, including division KPIs. 
• Ensure quality financial reporting through cooperation with shared services and corporate functions. 
• Conduct in-depth analyses and suggest improvement initiatives. 
• Monitor financial performance and initiate corrective actions. 
• Provide financial expertise for key global projects. 
• Ensure financial analysis for key decisions within the divisions. 
• Ensure legal, tax, and statutory compliance.
• Assist in establishing or enhancing documentation, controls, processes, and policies within the finance function. 

Your background and your qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience within Finance area 
• Strong analytical and critical reasoning skills. 
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership over work results. 
• Intellectually curious and flexible, interested in understanding the business behind the numbers. 
• Strong planning and organizational skills. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse executives, managers, and experts. 
• Open-minded, positive, with a “can-do” attitude. 
• Adaptable and able to work with diverse groups in a matrix environment. 
• Understanding of taxation principles, IFRS, and management reporting standards.
