As a Project Coordinator, you will:

• Build positive relationships with clients by providing added value to the projects and building a positive image of Scalac,
• Motivate devs' teams and boost their effectiveness (delegate tasks, verify progress, and provide feedback),
• Research the client's needs and adequately respond to them, proposing satisfactory solutions and acquiring knowledge about the client's business,
• Manage the IT projects using classic and agile methodologies in practice,
• Take care of the negotiation processes,
• Manage risk in and between projects,
• Take part in the project estimation process.

What do we expect from you?

• Fluency in spoken and written English (must-have),
• 2 years of general experience in the IT field with a passion for the IT branch (must-have),
• At least 1 year of experience in leading software projects as a Project Manager (preferred),
• Good skills and experience in delegating tasks, motivating, conflict-solving, and providing feedback,
• Great communication skills and being a team player,
• Flexibility, self-organization, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively,
• Ability to maintain appropriate contact with the client,
• Knowledge of classical and agile methodologies,
• Efficiency in managing and juggling multiple projects and priorities with the ability to see and understand the bigger picture,
• Ability to prepare the estimation of project settlements in consultation with the technical department,
• Willingness to get the job done and lack of “it’s not my area of expertise” approach as we value T-shaped people,
• Nice to have: previous experience as a software developer, tester, scrum master, or team leader.

Our recruitment process has 4 stages:

1. Discovery talk with HR
2. Talk with the Head of the PM Team
3. Talk with PM Team members
4. Final talk with the CEO or Head of People

We are a software house based in Gdańsk. We started 9 years ago as a small startup and now we have over 120 people including Backend, Frontend, DevOps, Data Engineers, QA, and UX/UI designers Teams. We were remote-friendly from the beginning and our international team works from 22 different locations - mostly from Poland, but also from Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Brazil, Bolivia, and many more.
