AP Accountant with Polish 📱

We are looking for an AP Accountant with Polish to join our Team at Securitas Poland.

Responsibilities:

• Recording accounts payable invoices.
• Determining VAT tax obligations for domestic and international transactions.
• Supervising unsettled transactions, such as prepayments and corporate card expenses.
• Recording accruals and deferrals. 
• Verifying and recording domestic and international business travel settlements.
• Maintaining fixed assets ledger.
• Preparing fixed assets reports.
• Ongoing analysis and reconciliation of accounting entries.
• Close collaboration with other company departments.
• Preparing documentation for audit by an independent auditor.

Requirements:

• Higher education in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• About 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Very good knowledge of tax regulations (especially CIT, VAT, and The Accounting Act).
• Practical knowledge of MS Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tax deadlines.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Communication skills, accuracy and strong client orientation. 
• Willingness to continually educate oneself and seek new solutions.
• Fluency in Polish language and proficiency in English language (B2/C1 level).
• Experience in Shared Services (nice to have).
• Knowledge of the Oracle system (nice to have).
