Coastal Design Engineer

Location: all of Poland

Responsibilities related to design:

• Breakwaters, groynes, seawalls, sheet-pile walls;
• Beach parks, sand nourishments;
• Submarine sea cables, offshore windmill farms;
• Dredging and sediment disposal;
• Metocean;
• CAD-drawing.

What type projects you work with:

• We have a range of coastal protection projects that we are involved in, such as Solrød Municipality’s coastal protection, coastal breakwater for Guldborgsund Municipality, storm-surge protection of Gråsten for Sønderborg Municpality and storm-surge protection of Øresundsbroen (fixed link between Sweden and Denmark).
• Moreover, our expert specialists handle the hydraulic aspects supporting our ports team on port projects, and we evaluate the state and liftetime assessments of the Coastal Authoritie’s coastal and harbor structures on the Danish West Coast.

Our requirements:

• 1 years of experience;
• Knowledge of one of the following: MIKE, Delft, Telemac, CAD-drawing programmes;
• Good to have: knowledge of XBeach, knowledge and experience regarding coastal, climate adaptation or offshore engineering;
• Great communication skills in English(written and spoken).
