Lead IT Monitoring Engineer

We're looking for a Lead IT Monitoring Engineer to join us in Cracow, Rzeszow, Warsaw offices or Remotely. If you're seeking for a challenging projects in a start-up environment with high autonomy and ownership this offer is for you!

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• +3 years experience in the similar role in a 24x7 environment preferably within financial industry
• Experience with using Time Series Databases like InfluxDB
• Experience with Graphing tools like Grafana, ability to quickly create useful dashboards for the engineering and operations teams
• Experience with managing and using ELK (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log aggregation and operational intelligence

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a monitoring team
• Setup and development of monitoring tools
• Monitoring of services, products offered by zen, including applications and systems monitoring
• Create useful dashboards, alerts for the engineering and operations teams
• Proactively support the IT team to assist in the resolution of escalated issues and problems raised by other teams and support agents
• Work with development teams to understand improvement, new feature and enhancement requirements
• Work with development and operations teams to ensure alert thresholds are fit for purpose and do not generate false positives or spam alerts / events
