SALARY: 15 - 20 000 PLN gross (employment contract)

Product Teams at Brainly are working on some of the most complex technical challenges in the ed-tech space and creating the product for over +350 million students from all around the world. We focus on building the infrastructure and features that enable Brainly users to learn and collaborate, ask, and answer millions of questions every day. Join Brainly as a Product Owner and work on a daily basis with a cross-functional independent product team which includes developers, product designers and QA. 

In this role, you will take full responsibility for the Structured Content Management system, which is a part of the Structured Content Initiative. The first new project which is being developed in this area is Textbook solutions. In this project, the questions from the textbooks from multiple countries are digitized, answered by the team of experts, and uploaded to the database via self-written CMS. Your goal will be to increase the speed and the quality of the content production by improving the workflows and capabilities of the CMS, introduce new types of structured content like study guides and exam preparations and design process around their content upload as well as build a synergetic relationship with the team responsible for the user-facing product both on web and mobile applications.

ON A DAILY BASIS YOU WILL:

  • Ensure high productivity by defining the best possible plan for you team on how to achieve your department’s goals and by aligning people’s drives with those goals
  • Construct appropriate roadmap, backlog and strategy to achieve it with cooperation with the head of your department, multiple other stakeholders and product teams
  • Propose, define and construct appropriate measures that will support achieving your team’s goals and measuring your team’s processes
  • Manage the team on a daily basis (taking care of product backlog, requirements to be delivered and work-organisation) as well as make sure that the team works in the best possible, effective way to be successful in achieving defined goals and objectives
  • Enable teams and individuals to operate autonomously by giving continuous feedback, coaching and encouragement, as well as enable people to do their best work by removing roadblocks and improving the product development process and product backlog
  • Define needs, finding candidates, recruiting and hiring talent to augment your team
  • Evaluate team and individual performance and delivering the performance reviews

YOU ARE A GREAT FIT IF YOU HAVE:

Experience in:

  • Product management and product development (at least 2 years)
  • Successfully delivering projects and initiatives in terms of defining, planning, scheduling and executing
  • Managing a team, as well as hiring and performance management
  • Scrum/Agile development method
  • Following the industry trends and adoption of the best-practices
