We are currently looking for a talented Business Development Team Manager to lead our early-stage business development Sales Team. Our BDR’s and SDR’s are responsible for mapping markets, identifying potential customers, and establishing the first contact between them and Perfect Gym. Acting as the face of our organization, your aim will be to manage the team and to find and speak to Fitness Club Owners and Operators that are potentially interested in our software. You and your team will be working with potential clients from all over the world and generating new business opportunities.

As the BDTM you must have a strong leadership capability, an outgoing personality along with an exceptional level of desire and drive to learn new skills and build a career in Sales. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, as well as the ability to easily connect with others. You will be helping Perfect Gym Develop its early-stage Business Development process and You will contribute in our mission to make the world a more Perfectly Fit place with Perfect Gym.
 
YOUR ACTIVITIES

Managing a team of people to identify high potential Fitness Club Owners and Operators largely depends on your personal skill set. Problem Solving, Creative thinking and leadership qualities are the key to delivering targeted prospecting results and the right type of people.

Among your responsibilities are:

  • Working with Marketing to Map target customers in market segments and geographies to create a list of targeted accounts for you and your team to work with.
  • Creating and Using prospecting strategies to lead initial outbound and inbound prospecting efforts.
  • Systemise the team’s approach to the following: -
    • Using market mapping to develop target lists.
    • Developing information about target accounts and employees
    • Deliver a communication plan to drive leads and opportunities.
    • Identifying the needs and challenges of the prospective customer
    • Determining the prospects interest in the Perfect Gym’s solutions
    • Getting Owners and Operators excited about our solution and connect their pain points with our services.
    • Providing information to Owners & Operators about the services we offer.
    • Staying in touch with the network of Owners and Operators before, during and after the sales cycle.
    • Utilizing different channels to look for prospects (e.g., Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn)
    • Recording and documenting all calls and communications in our CRM, Salesforce.com in order to identify trends for improvement.
    • Scheduling discovery meetings for sales representatives and prospects
    • Achieving a targeted number of activities per day/week/month in a structured organized fashion.
    • Delivering against key performance targets on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Being responsible for shaping our discovery process and mapping of key accounts
  • Perform in-depth research identifying opportunities.
  • Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional, and local programs.
  • Work with Sales Development and implement pipeline generation and acceleration programs for specific, targeted accounts and contacts.
  • Design & execute 1:1, 1: few, and broad-based marketing initiatives to meet pipeline requirements of varied account segments.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive account profiles and target personas; build and oversee a database of named contacts to align marketing and sales in defining the target audience required to achieve account goals.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing Managers to identify gaps in key personas and contact information within strategic accounts; develop data and insight strategy to add key personas and contacts within accounts

WHAT WE EXPECT

What we are looking for are people ready to take on new challenges and to help us innovative the Fitness Industry, who have experience and/or qualifications including the following:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong team management and motivational skills
  • Business Development experience
  • SaaS early-stage sales experience
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or another CRM.
  • Excellent written, listening and communication skills.
  • A self-motivated performer.
  • A problem solver able to communicate solutions effectively.
  • Knowledge of business process and organisational structures
  • Experience creating and using prospecting strategies.
  • An interest in software (SaaS) sales and/or the fitness industry
  • At least 3 years of professional experience
  • Experience reaching and exceeding activity goals and quotas.
  • Fluent English (B2B – C1)
  • Determination to achieve goals & targets as a team manager.
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing, and persistent personality
  • Passioned and motivated
  • Good time management and strong task management and organizational skills

DESIRED

  • An understanding of the Health & Fitness Industry
  • Additional languages are a plus particularly Spanish, Italian, French or German.
  • Management experience
