We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller based in Poland to take on a global role, managing financial operations and reporting for our international business. In this position, you will work closely with external accountants and internal teams worldwide, ensuring accurate financial oversight across all regions. You will report directly to our VP Finance in the Norwegian parent company Bluestone AS. If you are ready to bring your expertise to a global stage, we invite you to apply!


💻 Our Financial Controller's daily challenges:


  • Serve as the main point of contact for external accountants, ensuring effective collaboration for accurate and compliant financial reporting.
  • Consolidate financial data and prepare detailed reports reflecting the company’s financial status. Provide insights that influence strategic decisions.
  • Handle critical accounting operations, including Billing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and revenue recognition. Manage and streamline the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis, providing financial analysis to support decision-making, cost savings, and long-term growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to establish financial goals, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and make recommendations for improving cash management.
  • Drive financial process improvements, including automation of workflows to increase efficiency and reduce errors.


👏 Factors that make you a great fit:


  • Proven experience as a financial controller, accountant, or auditor
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting software 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting/business intelligence tools is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in or with SaaS companies is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with international colleagues and stakeholders.
