AR Accountant with Czech or Greek (cash application team)

For our Client, a global leader in the chemical industry, we are looking for candidates to join one of the largest SSCs in Warsaw for the position of AR Accountant with Czech or Greek language skills (for the cash application team). This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of cash management processes within an international environment.

Responsibilities:

• process daily cash applications using bank statements, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs),
• collaborate with the Collections team to address and resolve issues involving unapplied and unidentified cash. Create and distribute timely reports to internal stakeholders,
• continuously review and enhance the cash application process to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Identify areas for improvement and participate in ongoing process enhancement initiatives,
• addhere to standard operating procedures and provide all necessary documentation to facilitate audit processes,
• contribute to the development and improvement of finance-related projects,
• work closely with other internal departments, including finance, sales, and logistics, to ensure seamless collaboration.

Requirements:

• a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in cash application is required,
• experience with transitions is advantageous but not essential,
• fluency in English and Czech or Greek, with at least a B2 proficiency level in both languages,
• strong understanding of basic accounting principles and advanced Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables and functions such as xlookup,
• a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred,
• the ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills.
