Security/Network Presales Engineer

As a Cisco Security Presales Engineer, you’ll be the key link between our partners/customers and the right Cisco Security solution. Your focus will be on understanding business needs, design comprehensive solutions, winning deals and delivering trainings that empower our partners and customers to succeed with Cisco Security technologies. 

Your responsibilities 

• Pre-sales: Leading the full presales cycle – customer discovery, solution positioning, technical presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and representing Cisco Security at conferences and partner events.

• Design: Creating high-level design documents for proposed technical solutions, collaborating with various teams within the company to design more complex solutions. 

• Proof-of-Concept: Validate solutions in internal labs or customer environments 

• Training: Sharing knowledge and expertise with customers, partners, or colleagues through specialized courses and consultations focused on Cisco security solutions

• Implementation: You can be part of a strong technical group team and contribute to successful projects delivery with your own hands-on experience

What you bring 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in networking – routing & switching and security

• Experience in IT/networking, project work, consulting, service activities, training, etc. 

• Knowledge of IP networking, Cisco routers, switches, and routing protocols

• Knowledge of Cisco Systems network security products (Firewall, IPS, Identity, VPN, Antimalware, Email and Web Security) is an advantage 

• Experience in presales, solution consulting, or partner-facing roles 

• Experience in delivering trainings for partners and customers is a strong plus

• Strong communication and presentation skills in Polish and English 

• Trustworthiness, responsibility, independence, and a team mindset 

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn – you don’t need to meet every requirement to apply! Experience with other vendors (Palo Alto, F5 etc.) is also an advantage.
