AR Accountant with German
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain customer master data, verifying and controlling entries and changes
Prepare, review, and post customer invoices and credit notes in the accounting system
Perform collections, monitor payments, send reminders, and reconcile accounts
Handle settlement of payments and monitor open items for customers and intercompany accounts
Support month-end closing and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with accounting rules
Assist in audits and ensure proper tax deductions are applied
Participate in transition and knowledge transfer sessions
Review, document, and improve accounts receivable processe
Your Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable (full AR experience preferred; strong collections experience considered)
Experience in SSC/BPO environments and process documentation/transition is a plus
Proficient in MS Dynamics or similar ERP systems (SAP experience beneficial)
Fluent in German (C1) and English (B2)
Detail-oriented, proactive, structured, and able to work independently
Customer-focused mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and team spirit
Willingness to travel for short-term transitions (max 3 days)
