 DTC Accountant with English - remote 

Our Client is looking for a highly motivated Direct to Consumer SME to shape and optimize the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Accounting Process within our organization and Global Business Services GBS structure. The role focuses on leveraging the latest technological solutions, including the implementation of SAP S/4HANA and new payment method integrations, to enhance process efficiency and accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Optimize and refine the D2C accounting process, utilizing cutting-edge technology and exploring new opportunities within GBS frameworks.
• Evaluate and propose enhancements to existing processes while introducing industry best practices to streamline operations.
• Establish and maintain SOX-compliant controls for new accounting streams, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with Team Lead to build a comprehensive knowledge base, improve process quality, and foster continuous improvement.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and participate or lead projects aimed at optimizing AR processes, particularly in the context of technological upgrades.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support process improvement initiatives.
• Identify and drive opportunities for improvement and development, ensuring the AR process remains aligned with business goals and technological advancements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable within a SSC environment.
• Understanding of DTC process (E-Commerce & Retail) 
• Knowledge of SAP 
• Demonstrated ability to lead or participate in cross-functional projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
• Fluent English
