Global R&D Project Lead

For our Client, multinational company, one of the largest food product manufactures in the world, we are looking for candidates for the position of:

Global R&D Project Lead

Your responsibilities:

• initiate, design and direct Global R&D projects in line with the business strategy and objectives
• collaborate with Marketing, Sales and BDM to ensure alignment of projects scope to maximize the potential of the projects
• manage the project plan, prioritize and deliver projects on time and in full
• manage the technical product and /or process development from idea or marketing brief through the entire stage gate funnel process
• coordinate a multidisciplinary project team, coordinate all actions and follow-up on deliverables to reach full delivery of projects on time
• develop intellectual property strategy for key projects and safeguard Barry Callebaut’s intellectual property rights in interaction with stakeholders (e.g. setting up confidentiality agreements)
• advise/assist all departments as needed on any technical issues relating to the project topic
• support and advise Regional R&D teams in the regional launch of the project
• manage relationships with suppliers, institutes and co-manufacturers to ensure state-of-the-art knowledge and application of ingredients and equipment, as well as to assure BC receives adequate service

Requirements:

• Master's degree level in a Science or Engineering discipline, preferably with some experience in Food Industry
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in R&D in Food Industry
• experience in project management, preferably in a multi-stakeholder environment
• knowledgeable in MS Office & Project Management Tools
• knowledge of SAP is a plus
• fluent in English
