Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate a dedicated payroll team, including setting objectives, delegating tasks, and overseeing deliverables.
Manage payroll execution processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal SOX controls.
Approve payroll lists, money transfers, and oversee SLA adherence.
Manage relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders (Finance, HR, Business, IT).
Oversee internal and external audits and ensure business continuity through up-to-date DTPs and SoPs.
Monitor and improve payroll process effectiveness and internal procedures, updating payroll calendars as needed.
Contribute to the financial closing process, including understanding the creation of financial provisions.
Support integration with accounting processes and collaborate with stakeholders across European countries.
Requirements:
Proven experience in payroll management, preferably covering both Poland and other European markets.
Previous exposure to in-house payroll teams as well as stakeholder management at regional or international level.
Familiarity with SAP and Blackline is a strong plus.
Understanding of financial provision processes.
Experience with Workday would be an advantage.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with ability to ensure business continuity in an interim setup.
Fluent English (other European languages are a plus).
