Opis stanowiska

For our client, a leading company in the tech and manufacturing industry, we are seeking talented candidates for the position of Payroll Supervisor with German.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage payroll operations in Germany and Austria, ensuring timely payments and compliance with local legislation.
  • Coordinate and oversee payroll systems, perform regular audits, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborate with external entities including government agencies, pension providers, social security, insurance companies, and tax authorities.
  • Lead the payroll team, resolve issues, and serve as the main contact for managers on salary, tax, and payroll-related inquiries.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes from a payroll perspective, including managing international assignees.
  • Ensure all payroll data, such as employee updates, taxes, benefits, and mobility charges, are processed and uploaded accurately and timely.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for payroll service providers and approve monthly payroll and invoices for benefits and social insurances.
  • Review and update payroll policies to ensure compliance with group requirements (e.g., SOX).

                 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-6 years of payroll supervisory experience, preferably in an international environment, managing payroll for over 4,000 employees.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, taxes, and controls.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
  • Additional assets: experience with Oracle, ADP, MS Office, and international expat payroll processes.
