Senior Specialist / Expert in Financial Reporting

Your Responsibilities:

• Taking part in financial reporting to regulatory authorities such as the KNF, GUS, and NBP.
• Supporting the preparation of annual financial statements in line with the requirements of the Accounting Act.
• Contributing to reporting processes in accordance with IFRS 17.
• Assisting in the preparation of Solvency II reports.
• Performing analyses of financial data.
• Participating in various finance-related projects.
• Reviewing and improving business processes, reporting frameworks, and tools within the financial reporting domain.

Our Requirements:

• A degree in economics, accounting, finance, or related fields such as quantitative methods.
• A solid understanding of international financial reporting standards e.g., IFRS 17 or Solvency II regulations.
• Professional experience in consulting or finance, particularly in preparing financial statements.
• Knowledge of the life insurance industry and/or property and casualty insurance sector.
• Thorough understanding of the Accounting Act and related legal requirements.
• Familiarity with tax principles (VAT, CIT, WHT, PCC).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications at an advanced level.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
• Precision, reliability, and excellent organizational abilities.
• A team-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
• Initiative and a proactive attitude towards sharing ideas and improving processes.
