Transport & Logistics Specialist with German

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Transport & Logistics Specialist with German to join our logistics team in Dąbrowa Górnicza. In this role, you’ll manage the planning and execution of road transport operations across Europe, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant deliveries to our customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily road transport operations to ensure on-time delivery of goods.

• Create loading instructions and manage load dispositions, considering customer deadlines and logistics constraints.

• Issue and process transport orders, verifying that all required documentation (KPI sheets, operating instructions, etc.) is accurate and up to date.

• Monitor transport schedules, proactively resolve delays, and communicate with Customer Service regarding changes or issues.

• Select and manage shipments using SAP and Transporeon, ensuring visibility, accuracy, and compliance with order parameters.

• Handle unassigned or rejected deliveries by re-initiating the process and coordinating new delivery dates with internal teams.

• Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Production, and Packaging (ICP) to ensure smooth loading and dispatching operations.

• Analyze transport costs and carrier performance to ensure budget adherence and identify optimization opportunities.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including the rollout of new transport management systems (TMS).

• Ensure all operations comply with internal procedures, safety rules, and transport regulations.

What You Bring

• University degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field (preferred).

• Experience in logistics, dispatching, or freight forwarding.

• Solid understanding of road transport processes and logistics systems.

• Hands-on experience with SAP, Transporeon, and MS Office tools.

• Fluent English and German (minimum B2), both written and spoken.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup (4 days per week from the office in Dąbrowa Górnicza).
