About the Role
We are seeking a GTM Expert for a fast-growing tech startup. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in go-to-market (GTM) strategies, cold outreach campaigns, and closing deals. You will be responsible for setting up and managing the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation to final close, leveraging cutting-edge sales automation and AI tools.
You’ll work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure that sales efforts are tightly integrated with overall company strategy. If you’re a natural closer who’s always on the lookout for the latest sales enablement innovations, this might be your next big move!
Key Responsibilities
Develop & Execute Sales Strategy
- Define GTM plans, ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles), and Buyer Personas to identify and target high-potential markets.
- Design and implement cold outreach sequences across multiple channels (LinkedIn, email, phone).
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Build and optimize automated LinkedIn campaigns using tools like Dux-Soup, Reply.io, Waalaxy, etc.
- Drive email automation campaigns using platforms like Mailshake, Woodpecker, or similar.
- Utilize CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent) to track leads, manage opportunities, and forecast sales.
- Use workflow automation platforms (Make, Zapier) to streamline sales processes.
AI & GTM Innovation
- Stay updated on the latest AI-enabled sales tools, understanding how to apply them for lead scoring, prospecting, and personalization.
- Incorporate data-driven insights to optimize outreach strategies and improve close rates.
ICPs, Buyer Personas & Lead Sourcing
- Conduct market research to refine ICPs and Buyer Personas regularly.
- Use tools like Clay and Apollo to identify and segment potential leads.
- Continuously test and iterate on targeting criteria to improve lead quality.
Closing Deals & Relationship Management
- Lead sales calls, demos, and negotiations to secure new partnerships and meet revenue targets.
- Foster strong client relationships for cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Ensure hand-offs to the Customer Success or Account Management teams are smooth and well-documented.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Set and monitor KPIs (key performance indicators) for each stage of the sales funnel.
- Provide regular pipeline and revenue forecasts to executive leadership.
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively propose solutions to drive continuous improvement in sales performance.
Qualifications & Skills
Sales & GTM Expertise
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales quotas, especially in a B2B tech environment.
- Deep understanding of GTM strategies, from ICP design to multi-touch outbound campaigns.
- Experience with automated LinkedIn and email outreach tools (Dux-Soup, Reply.io, Waalaxy, etc.).
Automation & AI
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and workflow automation (Make, Zapier).
- Working knowledge of AI-powered sales and marketing tools for lead enrichment, personalization, and analytics.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage robust sales pipelines.
- Skilled in platforms like Clay, Apollo, or similar data-enrichment solutions.
Communication & Negotiation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to build rapport and trust quickly.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities – a “always be selling” mindset.
