ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Banking, Capital Markets, and Securities processes to support a custody system implementation project. This role will involve gathering and defining business requirements, leading data mapping initiatives, and coordinating workshops with multiple stakeholders to ensure a seamless system transition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage with stakeholders togather, analyze, and document business requirements related to securities processing and custody operations.
- Conduct and manage workshops to determine:
- Required data for the project
- Systems and interfaces involved
- Development of a roadmap and project plan
- Effort estimations for key work packages
- Define data mapping and integration strategies between custody platforms and existing banking systems.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to align project goals with operational needs.
- Develop clear documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, and system impact assessments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in securities and custody.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and facilitate stakeholder training during implementation.
KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of experience in business analysis within Banking, Capital Markets, or Securities Services.
- Expertise in data mapping, process optimization, and system integration.
- Strong background in custody systems, securities settlements, and financial instruments.
- Proven experience in steering workshops, project planning, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to create structured roadmaps and estimate effort for deliverables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with business users, IT teams, and senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (CSDR, MiFID, Basel, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is desirable.
