Transaction Processing Analyst

Team/Role Overview:

Transaction Processing Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for processing and monitoring payments, and handling queries in relation to SEPA and ACH (Automated Clearing House) payments. The overall objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing and monitoring payments and handling clients' or other banks' queries.

What you’ll do:

• Processing and monitoring payments related to SEPA payments, Direct Debits, ACH transactions and other banking products
• Responding to queries related to the payments processing for the covered products and clients' investigations accurately
• Handling escalations and providing supervision to the team in relation to payments
• Escalation of system and processing issues to respective internal or external parties including follow-up until clarification
• Identifying and reporting potential issues, error root-cause results, suggesting and implementing resolution
• Participation in projects and system changes
• Possible shift-work (early- 7:30AM/ mid – 10:30AM shifts) including public holidays, occasionally weekends for tests purpose

What we’ll need from you:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong command of English in speech and writing
• Good knowledge of one of the following European languages will be an asset: Spanish, German or Italian (B2 or above)
• Knowledge of banking operations will be an advantage
• Strong investigative and analytical skills, thinking outside the box, a keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Perfect organizational skills, ability to solve problems, making accurate and quick decisions, multitasking
