Opportunity Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with Cloudfide's executive leadership to identify, pursue, and convert high-value business opportunities across the U.S. market with a focus on Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 organizations. This is not a typical sales role. It's about building genuine, lasting relationships with decision-makers, earning trust at the highest levels, and opening doors that translate into long-term strategic partnerships.

You'll represent a fast-growing, modern software house with a proven track record in Big Data, cloud, and AI - and you'll have the autonomy to shape how we grow internationally.

Your Responsibilities

  • Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities within Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies, primarily in the United States.

  • Building and nurturing long-term relationships with C-level executives, VPs, and key decision-makers across target organizations.

  • Creating business opportunities for the CEO - preparing the ground, initiating conversations, and setting up high-value engagements.

  • Independently leading business conversations with senior stakeholders, from first contact through to proposal and close.

  • Developing a deep understanding of Cloudfide's service and technology offering - data engineering, cloud platforms, AI/ML, and software development - to position solutions credibly and consultatively.

  • Collaborating closely with leadership and delivery teams to align business development efforts with organizational capabilities and strategic priorities.

  • Maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities and providing visibility into progress, forecasts, and market insights.

  • Staying on top of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging client needs in the data and cloud space.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within the IT services, software, or technology sector.

  • Track record of engaging and closing deals with enterprise clients - Fortune 500/1000 experience is a strong advantage.

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills - able to earn trust and credibility with senior executives in international environments.

  • Strong consultative selling approach - you understand client needs deeply before proposing solutions.

  • Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving, high-growth environment - you don't need a playbook to get started.

  • Excellent English communication skills - written and spoken, at a level that works natively in the U.S. market.

  • Commercial mindset with the drive to hit targets and the patience to build relationships that compound over time.

  • Ability to keep pace with Cloudfide's dynamic growth - adaptable, curious, and always looking for the next opportunity.

Nice to Have

  • Existing network of contacts within U.S. enterprise or Fortune 500 organizations.

  • Familiarity with data, cloud, or AI/ML services and the ability to speak credibly about technology solutions.

  • Experience working with or within European software houses or technology consultancies operating on the U.S. market.

  • Knowledge of IT outsourcing, staff augmentation, or managed services commercial models.
