Master Data Specialist (material/product)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in master data management, preferably within SAP environments; knowledge of Material Management or Procurement data is a strong advantage.

• Proficiency in SAP (R/3, S/4HANA) and Excel; familiarity with data governance tools and Power BI is a plus.

• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and maintain high attention to detail.

• Solution-oriented approach to data-related issues and process challenges.

• Knowledge of MDM platforms is a plus. 

• Proactive attitude toward process improvement and supporting best practice development.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with IT, Sourcing & Logistics, Finance, and Production teams.

• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain material master data in accordance with governance rules, business requirements, and system standards.

• Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Sales to ensure proper data integration and alignment with business objectives.

• Perform regular data quality checks, investigate discrepancies, handle maintenance requests, and support ongoing data improvement initiatives.

• Assist in standardizing material data processes, proposing improvements and supporting the implementation of best practices.

• Participate in the SAP S/4HANA implementation, contributing to unified master data processes and shared maintenance practices across business areas.
