Customer Success Manager (SEO experience)
My client, OtterlyAI, is reshaping how businesses approach search visibility in the age of AI. Founded by experienced SaaS veterans with multiple successful exits, the company is building the next generation of SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) solutions.
About the Role:
I am looking for a Customer Success Manager who combines strong digital marketing expertise with a genuine passion for helping customers succeed.
The right candidate has a deep understanding of SEO, can clearly communicate strategic value to customers, and enjoys acting as the bridge between product, sales, and customer outcomes.
Your responsibilities in details:
1.Customer Onboarding & Training
Lead new customers through onboarding, ensuring they understand how to leverage OtterlyAI for SEO and GEO visibility
Host onboarding calls, product walkthroughs, and Q&A sessions tailored to customer goals
2. Account Management Support
Become a trusted advisor for a portfolio of customers from SMBs to Enterprise
Translate product features into actionable SEO and AI-search strategies
Monitor account health, proactively identifying risks and growth opportunities
3.Product Expertise & Guidance
Help customers understand how AI-driven search is changing the SEO landscape
Provide guidance on optimization for traditional SEO, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other generative engines
Collect customer feedback and collaborate with the Product team to influence roadmap priorities
4.Retention & Expansion
Drive renewals, upsells, and expansion opportunities based on demonstrated customer value
Build long-term relationships grounded in results, trust, and education
Main Requirements:
3+ years of solid SEO experience - strong understanding of organic search fundamentals, tools, keyword research, performance tracking, and reporting
Experience in Customer Success, Account Management, SEO consulting, or digital marketing roles
Ability to explain SEO concepts to non-experts and support customers in strategic execution
Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Ahrefs, or data visualization tools
Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
Availability within a European time zone
Experience working with enterprise customers
Self-directed and autonomous, comfortable working in a remote-first environment
Nice to Have:
Experience with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) or AI-based search visibility
Background in B2B SaaS, martech, or marketing platforms
Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling customer narratives
Previous experience running digital marketing campaigns
