OPS Analyst with lawyer experience

PROJECT INFORMATION:

Industry: banking

Location: 100% remote (occasional visits to the office in Krakow or Warsaw)

Remuneration: 120-140 pln/h +VAT

REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of Liquidity risk principles, loans products and loan legal contracts.
• Familiar with Liquidity principles and regulation, collateral and in particular loans and securities as products for prepositioning.
• Familiarity with loan legal terms to support pre- contract review. 
• Familiarity of loan booking processes.
• The role holder will have good knowledge of Collateral Management within the context of liquidity and funding.
• Proven track required of business analyst capacity.
• Data Collection – gathering data from various sources, and LoBs and entities.
• Data Analysis – interpret data trends and pattern to support pre-filtering ahead of due diligence. 
• Business insight – identify where business processes can be optimised to support TOM.
• Comfortable engaging both verbally and in written form with stakeholders.
• LMA Documentation: Thorough understanding of Loan Market Association (LMA) standard documentation, including the ability to interpret and review legal agreements.
• Assist in managing, amending, and ensuring the accuracy of legal documents.
• Paralegal Knowledge: Strong paralegal experience, enabling accurate review and handling of legal documents.
• Ability to support legal teams and external counsel in ensuring operational compliance.
• Experience with JIMRAS (or similar systems) for managing legal or operational processes efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to produce loan portfolios for review by an external counsel. 
• Complete prework ahead of full legal contract review.
• Working across several areas within the client collaborative to understand what work has already been carried out and recommend the correct portfolios to work on.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with LIBOR transition processes, ensuring smooth updates and adherence to new benchmarks like SOFR or SONIA where relevant.
• German or French Language Skills.
