Financial Business Analyst
At Embla Medical, the Finance Business Partner (FP&A) team plays a critical role in driving strategic and operational excellence through insightful financial analysis and planning.
As a Financial Business Analyst supporting the Chronic Solutions and B&S business within the Europe region, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact reporting and analytics in support of commercial and strategic decision-making.
Your primary focus will be on the Sales and Marketing functions across key segments including Lower Limb Prosthetics, Upper Limb Prosthetics, Neuro Orthotics and B&S. In this role, you will partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support full P&L forecasting and performance analysis, scenario modeling, business case development and the execution of strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop data driven analyses that help senior Financial Business partners evaluate business strategies and scenarios.
Develop and design models to evaluate strategic initiatives.
Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses.
Support monthly closing with deep-dive variance analysis.
Assist with planning and forecasting cycles.
Identifies relevant information sources, gathering and interpreting data and reports this to management.
Conduct variances and trend analysis and provide actionable insights to the Financial Business partners and senior leadership.
Prepare ad hoc reports, tools and dashboards in Power BI and Excel to monitor and analyze detailed P&L Performance.
Evaluates past business performance and identifies opportunities for cost saving and revenue growth.
Interviews with stakeholders and external parties to develop fact-based analyses.
Develop appropriate communication documents and presents analyses findings to stakeholders.
Generate data supported solutions, resolve report data errors, and ensure the highest quality of data integrity for all analyses and reporting.
What we ask from you:
Strong business and financial acumen.
Data analysis, being an expert in modeling and spotting deviations.
Technical tools: Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, BI tools, SQL or Python (both optional).
Excellent communicator – verbal, written and performance skills to translating data into clear visuals and concise business messages.
Collaboration, build relationships cross-functional with financials and non-finance stakeholders.
Proactively, flags risk and come up with opportunities without being asked
Strong written and verbal English skills.
An entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, requires limited supervision and displays strong initiatives.

Education:
Bachelors’ degree in Financials with additional Certifications like Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
Minimum of 3-year relevant experience
