Join G2A.COM as a Senior Financial Specialist and co-manage full accounting in a company that values precision, responsibility, and continuous development. You'll take on ambitious tasks, have a real impact on the organization's finances, and collaborate daily with experts in accounting and tax.

Your responsibilities will include co-managing the full-scope accounting for an organization where day-to-day financial operations require flexibility, accuracy, and an analytical mindset. You’ll be in charge of advanced accounting processes such as currency valuations, provision creation, accruals, and deferred tax calculation.

A key part of your role will be account reconciliation and analysis — tasks that demand not only attention to detail but also proactiveness in identifying discrepancies and proposing solutions. You’ll prepare financial statements and tax declarations in compliance with current regulations. Cooperation with auditors and external advisors will give you the opportunity to enhance your communication skills and gain new knowledge.

Your responsibilities:

• Posting and calculating provisions, currency valuations, deferred tax, and accruals
• Preparing financial statements in accordance with defined standards
• Preparing tax declarations as well as reports for internal purposes and external institutions
• Cooperating with auditors and external advisors in the areas of accounting and taxation
• Classifying and posting accounting documents
• Settling, reconciling, and analyzing general ledger accounts
• Processing payroll and preparing ZUS declarations

You’re a perfect match for the role, if:

• You have at least 3 years of experience working as an Accountant
• You have a very good knowledge of Polish tax regulations (especially CIT and VAT) as well as accounting principles under the Accounting Act
• You are proficient in MS Excel and MS Word and can work confidently with functions and reports
• You have experience in comprehensive payroll processing (salary calculations, posting, ZUS declarations)
• Your English is at least at a B2 level, allowing you to communicate freely both verbally and in writing
• You're well-organized and able to work under time pressure due to short reporting periods
• You're detail-oriented and responsible
• You're communicative and able to work effectively in a team
• You have strong analytical thinking skills and a practical approach to problem-solving

Your additional advantages:

• Knowledge of the SAP Business One system
• Familiarity with and application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Experience in financial reporting and tax settlements of EU-based companies
