Finance Manager (DBB)

As a Finance Manager DBB (Digital Backbone) you will be a finance business partner to the Digital Backbone Programme Executive and Digital & Technology Business Control Director, accountable for a global, end-to-end view of Digital Backbone (DBB) Programme performance across cost, value delivery, risk and governance.

Your responsibilities would include: 

• acting as key finance business partner to the DBB Programme Executive, DBB Leadership Team, and functional/regional programme leaders

• shaping and owns the DBB business control framework, ensuring cost transparency, value visibility, and disciplined financial governance

• maintaing cost governance against approved guardrails, programme scope, transformation milestones, and financial targets

• providing forward-looking scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis, and financial options to support trade-offs, prioritization, and sequencing decisions

• supporting and challenges business cases, delivery assumptions, value logic, risk assessments, and operational plans across all DBB workstreams

• shaping the DBB value realization framework, ensuring benefits are properly quantified, tracked, challenged, and embedded into financial cycles

• supporting the governance cycle - Strategic Plan, Annual Plan, and Rolling Forecast - with Digital & Technology, other Global Programms deploying alongside DBB, and operating companies to ensure forecast alignment

• strengthening transparency and governance over DBB Build and Deploy spend as budgets move closer into the DBB Executive structure, ensuring costs are clearly linked to DBB scope, roadmap priorities, and value delivery

• leading and develops the Business Controller and Analyst, ensuring clear ownership, quality of output, and capability development.

  You are a good candidate if you have: 

• Master in business economics or accounting & control

• 8-12 years of relevant experience in Finance, with solid knowledge of cross functional planning & control experience

• proven experience in business control, consulting, finance management or managerial reporting

• experience working in a multinational, matrix-structured environment

• finance knowledge combined with strong analytical and communication skills 

• strong communication skills, essential for managing relationships at both strategic and tactical levels with a broad range of senior stakeholders across a complex business environment

• building collaborative relationships, people management, change management, and influencing skills

• fluency in English, both written and spoken.
