About the role:

As an Accountant in the Member Compensation Accounting Team, you will be responsible for invoice processing and payments as part of the day-to-day activities for countries within the GBS scope. The Accountant ensures that documents are posted and outgoing payments are sent daily in a timely manner to minimize the risk of wire transfer failures and to resolve queries efficiently. The Accountant is required to follow the controls and procedures of the Member Compensation Accounting process.

Additionally, the person in this role handles activities related to bank account and liability reconciliation, preparation and processing of relevant journal entries, booking of manual invoices and credit memos, and cooperation with GBS teams and other supporting functions in the EMEA region. The MCA Accountant demonstrates a proactive approach in resolving unpaid transactions.

In this role, you will:

• Process invoices and payments on a daily basis.
• Operate controls for payments released on the prior day and process returned payments in the Accounts Payable subledger
• Reconcile bank and liability accounts for countries within the scope.
• Follow up proactively on issues related to invoices and payments in the EMEA region
• Perform Month-End Close activities
• Prepare status updates
• Ensure adherence to defined SLAs and KPI reporting
• Participate actively in projects, process improvements, and standardization initiatives
• Deliver consistent quality across Herbalife businesses, functions, and regions
• Communicate effectively with other teams to ensure a smooth payment process
• Comply with financial policies and procedures, particularly regarding distributor earnings payments and invoice processing
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant SOX rules. 

Our requirements:

• Min. 1 year of relevant working experience in accounts payable, payment (or related) functions
• High education in accounting/finance or/and other related fields
• High customer service skills - emails and calls handling
• Strong analytical, process improvement and conceptual mindset
• MS Office, Oracle (or the other ERP system) knowledge
• Experience of Excel to at least intermediate level
• Proven ability to work under pressure
• Customer focused individual
• Excellent communication skills
• Very good command of English, min. B2 level
• Experience in an SSC or outsourcing environment is welcomed but not required.
