Customer Account Representative (CRO)
🚛💼Company: A leading European tax refund service provider specializing in VAT & Excise Duty refunds for the International Road Transport Industry.
🎯Your role: You will manage a portfolio of Croatian-speaking customers, ensure smooth tax refund processes - excise duty, and provide expert advice.
📍Location: Warsaw (1 month on-site, then hybrid model)
Customer Account Representative (CRO)
What will you be doing?
💼 Customer Account Management:
✔️ Prospecting and onboarding new customers.
✔️ Maintaining customer data and verifying documents within the internal system.
✔️ Building and sustaining strong relationships through email, telephone, and other channels.
✔️ Offering professional expertise on VAT/Excise Duty refunds.
📑 Tax Refund Operations:
✔️ Verifying and processing customer documents for VAT/Excise Duty refunds.
✔️ Calculating refund amounts and submitting claims.
✔️ Handling appeals, audits, and supporting authorities on behalf of customers.
✔️ Managing invoicing, refund transfers, and payment follow-ups.
📢 Regulatory & Process Improvement:
✔️ Staying up to date with VAT/Excise Duty regulations and legal changes.
✔️ Collaborating with tax and customs authorities when necessary.
✔️ Testing software changes and participating in process optimization projects.
What will help you succeed?
✅ Initial experience within customer service area, or in similar position.
✅ Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
✅ Ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines and process high volumes of data.
✅ Proficiency in IT tools, especially MS Office.
✅ Strong communication skills and a commercial mindset.
✅ Native Croatian and/or Serbian speaker with professional competency in English. (Polish is a plus).
