Risk & Capital Management Team Member with German

On behalf of our client – a leading consulting firm in the financial services sector, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Risk & Capital Management Team Member with German.

Your responsibilities

• Work on projects for leading German banks and financial institutions, gaining hands-on experience in risk management.

• Build expertise in risk assessment, ESG risks, and regulatory compliance.

• Support capital management initiatives, including capital optimization and advanced risk metrics.

• Develop analytical tools for risk-weighted asset calculations, reporting automation, and capital allocation.

• Collaborate with international teams, expanding your network and learning from experienced professionals.

• Strengthen technical skills using risk management software, programming (SQL, Python, R, SAS), and data analytics.

• Work in an environment that encourages curiosity, initiative, and continuous learning.

• Enjoy flexible work arrangements and occasional trips to Germany for international exposure.

  
  

Employer requirements

• Fluent in German and English (minimum B2).

• Experience in financial services or consulting, ideally with exposure to German institutions.

• Understanding of European banking regulations.

• Degree (completed or near completion) in finance, business law, econometrics, or other quantitative/analytical fields.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

• Proactive, organized, and quality-focused work style.

• Open and effective communication skills.

• Strong motivation to learn and collaborate with international teams.

Nice to have:

• Programming skills (SQL, Python, R, SAS, C).
