We only take on projects where the client is fully on board with our design process, including key stages like empathizing, identifying the right problems, research, ideation, prototyping, UI design, user testing, REPEAT. We work with leading brands like Cognite, Rezolve and Dynatrace, designing mobile and web applications used by hundreds of thousands of users worldwide. We’re currently looking for a Senior UI Designer to join a project for one of our clients, representing Lab1. You will be part of an international, amazing team, led by a brilliant Product Manager, where you’ll have great opportunities for professional growth. You’ll also work alongside highly skilled developers on exciting and impactful projects, particularly mobile applications.

This is a long-term project in a product team, and it’s going to be an exciting journey!

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in UI design, with a strong focus on mobile applications, including at least 1 year working on a single product that you had the chance to iterate.
• Proven experience in designing native mobile apps within international, remote product team(s).
• Expertise in creating and maintaining comprehensive Design Systems.
• Strong experience with Figma and variables (e.g., dark mode design) and responsive layouts.
• Excellent collaboration skills, especially in working closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
• A solid portfolio showcasing mobile UI design work, with examples of applications that are/were live in the App Store.
• Experience in usability testing and analyzing user feedback.
• Able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English (B2-C1 proficiency).

Nice to Have:

• Illustration skills and the ability to create micro-animations.
• Practical knowledge of analytical tools such as Google Analytics and Mixpanel.
• Experience in scaling and mentoring design teams.
