Project Manager – Finance & Accounting Transformation
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives in the area of finance and accounting transformation. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive meaningful operational change, enhance financial processes, and work closely with key stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of finance transformation projects.
Work closely with business leaders to pinpoint opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
Build and manage detailed project plans, defining clear timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
Track and report project progress to senior leadership, providing regular status updates.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and maintaining high-quality project documentation.
Manage project budgets, oversee schedules, and ensure timely delivery.
Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing any potential roadblocks.
Support change management efforts, fostering adoption of new processes and solutions.
Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Your Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience managing projects in the field of finance and accounting transformation.
Solid knowledge of accounting processes and operational best practices.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working with project management frameworks (Agile/Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization.
Skilled at managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
Fluent in English (C1), both spoken and written.
Strong sense of ownership, leadership, and the ability to drive change effectively.
