Department Overview

Sales Operations is a part of the Sales organization and focuses on supporting sales people primarily with all reporting requirements. The team works closely with various departments within Motorola to support sales in achieving their orders and sales goals (Sales, Finance, Project Management, Supply chain, Strategy, etc).


Job Description

Channel Business Analyst Team Leader manages a team of Channel Business Analysts supporting Motorola Solutions Channel Operations organization with analysis of Sell Through and Sell Out data in order to support the Motorola Solutions channel program and provide insight to sales management on data quality, business trends, and statistics on point of sale and inventory.

What you will do:

  • Manage the team processes aimed at analysis of accuracy of Sell Through and Sell Out data
  • Manage the rebates calculations processes in the team
  • Prepare and analyze channel data for Management and for the Sales Team
  • Manage the processes of preparing QBR decks for the Sales Team and coordinate updates of decks with the respective teams
  • Cooperate closely with the SalesView IT team on SalesView enhancements and performance
  • Plan and lead team’s goals and projects in line with Channel Operations’ goals
  • Support all reporting requirements for Channel organization
  • Create and maintain Tableau reports and dashboards
  • Support other teams within Sales Operation Organization
  • Cooperate closely with Sales Team and Finance Team


Basic Requirements

  • Around 3 years of experience, preferably in data science/ finance/ business analysis
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Logical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to learn new IT systems and applications quickly
  • Very good command of English (written and spoken)
  • VBA & Tableau experience will be a plus
