Accounting Team Leader

We are seeking a Team Leader – Accounting to join our team and play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations for our entities in Poland and the United States. In this role, you will lead a team of accountants, collaborate with outsourcing partners, and report directly to the CFO.

Location: Poland (remote work)

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the preparation and closing of financial statements for our Polish and US entities.
• Supervise and participate in tax calculations, including VAT, PIT, CIT, and WHT.
• Prepare in-depth analyses and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate period-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end reporting.
• Optimize accounting processes by implementing automation and increasing team efficiency.
• Collaborate with banks, auditors, legal counsel, and external institutions to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
• Foster cross-departmental collaboration to align financial goals with company-wide objectives.

Requirements:

Education: A degree in Finance or Accounting.

Experience: At least 5 years in an independent accounting role or accounting firm. Experience in team coordination is a strong advantage.

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting principles and tax regulations (VAT, PIT, CIT, WHT).
• Knowledge of US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.

Language: Proficiency in English at a B2 level, enabling clear and effective communication..
